What an amazing city - can't wait till the next trip to Italy.
We must have shot over 700 pictures of Rome and the Vatican, thankfully disk space is now fairly cheap!
My parents went with us on this trip - their first trip to Europe. We loved having them there!

Tina and I took a tour of the buildings when we were in Rome four years ago, so this time, only Mom and Dad went inside the famous buildings. This made it easier for us since we had the kids along as well. We mostly stayed in the Piazza San Pietro. We also went to the Piazza to see the Pope, but we didn't know he was away that Sunday. We did, however, get to see him live on large screen displays from wherever he was. It was still a great experience to be there.
