Mid and Southern Wales

Map of Wales

Map (In relation to the UK)

Since we only had four days off to see Wales, we knew we wouldn't be able to see the entire country, so we kept to the Southern and Mid areas.  We have to go back some weekend in the future to see Cardiff as that city has several days worth of places/things to see as well.

Castle Coch  Map

On the way to Swansea (where our hotel was), we decided to go to this Castle as we thought Isabel would like the towers on it.  We toured this castle for about three hours - very cool place!

Our guidebook had this tour in it - a very cool drive to do, but be prepared for single-lane roads with blind corners and tractors!

St. David's  Map

We took a drive to the southwestern most tip of Wales and what a view we had!  It was very, very windy, so it was a bit chilly.

Brecon Beacons

This place was great - Isabel and Peyton loved it!  Unfortunately, moisture got on most of our pictures from the caves and ruined the pictures.  :(

On our last day in Wales, we relaxed in their garden for a few hours before we had an incredible dinner!  We'd love to go back, but it's not the most convenient place to get to from London!
